Jewett Café Provides Summer Dining Options

While food and beverage options on campus are reduced during the summer months, Jewett Café is open Monday–Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Breakfast (served before 11:30 a.m.) includes a parfait bar, toasted breakfast sandwiches, house-made pastries, smoothies and local espresso. Lunch (served after 11:30 a.m.) includes a Farm to Fork salad bar, changing lunch specials, house-made soups and toasted sandwiches.
Additional summer perks include lunch punch cards (buy five get one free), double punches on your coffee punch card if you bring your own cup, and free drip coffee Fridays.

Former Whitman Swimmer Competes in US Olympic Trials
|
Former Blue Tanner Filion ’23, a graduate student at the University of Notre Dame, is currently competing in the U.S. Olympic Trials for the 2024 London Olympic Games. On Sunday, Filion made it to the semifinals round in 100m backstroke, finishing in 15th place overall. Tomorrow, Friday, June 21, Filion will compete in the 100m butterfly. Qualifying heats and finals will be broadcast on Peacock and USA Network.

Printing and Mailing Services operating out of Boyer House will be closed on Friday, June 21. The Reid Campus Center Post Office will accept shipping requests until 11:30 a.m.

Join the Onion Bite Challenge Next Week

Walla Walla Sweet Onion season is here! As is tradition, incoming students in the Class of 2028 will each receive a box of onions to welcome them to the Whitman College community. In the meantime, the Office of Communications invites you to participate in an Onion Bite Challenge on Wednesday, June 26 at 10:30 a.m. on Ankeny Field. Can’t make it, but still want in on the fun?
