Fire Suppression Systems Testing
|
Annual inspections of campus fire suppression systems will take place this week. Testing will begin at approximately 7:30 a.m. and will proceed from building to building in the order listed. Occupants may hear a brief beep of the fire alarm during testing.

The Health Center Is Open This Summer
|
The Welty Health and Counseling Center is pleased to be able to offer additional support for students who are staying in Walla Walla this summer. The Health Center building will be open Monday–Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To make an appointment to see a provider about nonemergency medical needs or to make an appointment with a counselor, please email healthcenter@whitman.edu or call 509-527-5281.

- Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday–Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Weekly pop-up events will also be announced.

Students on campus this summer are invited to a series of talks organized by the STEM Hub on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. in Brattain Auditorium in the Hall of Science. This week, Professor of Biology Tim Parker will speak about “Tools for Scientific Reliability.” The series will continue through the first week in August.

The Ben Rabinowitz Award assists students with demonstrated leadership skills who wish to implement new projects or learning opportunities that promote compassion in medicine or politics and enrich the campus community.
