The Whitman Undergraduate Conference is a showcase of student knowledge and creative production shared through posters, presentations, performances and panel discussions. Classes are canceled to allow all students to attend and participate.

The 28th annual Whitman Undergraduate Conference will take place on Tuesday, April 14. (Flyer attached.)

Students are invited to register to participate before the deadline of Tuesday, March 3. Each proposal must have a Whitman-affiliated staff or faculty member sponsor. More information is available on the Whitman Undergraduate Conference website.

Tech Tip

Double-Check Email Recipients Before Sending

Since it is not uncommon for two people on campus to have similar names, be sure to take an extra couple of seconds to verify that you have selected or entered the email of the person you intend to reach before you push the “send” button. This is especially important if the email contains sensitive or personal information about students, trauma, finances, etc.

When you are replying to an email, check to see whether you clicked “reply” or “reply all” and whether your response should go only to the original sender or to everyone who was copied.
